Product Description The RPM10 is a combination tachometer which provides both contact and non-contact RPM measurements, making this device useful in virtually all applications. The RPM10 also features a built-in IR thermometer with laser pointer for measuring surface temperature from -4 to 600 degrees F (-20 to 315 degrees C), making it ideal for checking the operating temperature of motors, bearings and machinery. Complete with wheels for linear surface speed (0.2 to 6560 ft. /minute; 0.05 to 1999.9 m/minute) or RPM measurements, 4 AA batteries, 23 in. (0.6 m) reflective tape, carrying case, and user manual. The laser guided photo mode allows non-contact rpm measurements at distances up to 2 meters. The photo mode is ideal for use in areas that are hard to reach. In the contact mode, the display can be switched to measure linear speed (feet/min or meters/min) or rpm. The characters on the display reverse depending on contact or photo mode. Basic tachometer accuracy is ±0.05%. The tachometer stores the last and Min/Max readings for 5 minutes after shutting off. Comes complete with contact wheel for linear speed, cone and flat tips for rpm readings, four AA batteries, 23 of reflective tape, and carrying case.
